Speed Costs

June 10, 2008

According to a AAA rep on NPR this morning, for every 5 MPH over 60 MPH that you drive, your cost of fuel rises 20 cents.

So if you’re going 80 MPH every morning to work, instead of paying $4.09 at the pump, you’re actually paying $4.80/gallon.
