After reading this incredible article, one has to wonder not how many levels of Hell exist, but is there a separate Hell for those who cause extreme amounts of damage to the world? I wonder what happens there. Do they get tortured by an ultra-evil version of themselves in the hopes that they learn some empathy?
I’ll sum up the article: Two months before the 9/11 attacks and after the document “Bin Laden Determined to Strike the U.S.”, CIA director George Tenet and his counter-terrorism chief had an emergency meeting with Condoleezza Rice. They delivered a report titled “Bin Laden Threats Are Real.” Rice gave them the brush off and you know the rest.
There’s an old saying that went something like “I bet you could take a dump in the boss’ office and not get fired.” That Washington Post article makes me really believe it’s been true in D.C. for years now.
WILL SOMEONE PLEASE JUMP ALL OVER THE NATIONAL SECURITY ADVISER’S ASS ABOUT THIS AND HURL IT INTO A MASSIVE WOODCHIPPER ASAP? THIS PERSON FUCKED UP IN THE WORST WAY IMAGINABLE AND I CANNOT UNDERSTAND HOW SHE CAN EVEN GET OUT OF BED EVERY MORNING TO FACE HUMANITY.
